German Lenticular Aircraft

I've heard the Germans built some lenticular aircraft during the war.  Some of the designs seem to be ludicrous, but others seem to have been built or at least developed.  Any place with reliable data that I could go?
That being said, I'd like to remind everybody in a manner reminiscent of the SNL bit on Julian Assange, that no matter how I die: It was murder (even if there was a suicide note or a video of me peacefully dying in my sleep); should I be framed for a criminal offense or disappear, you know to blame.

Did you already know about Rob Arndt and his ... interest ... in that stuff?

I have chosen to believe in this material myself but this book does not seek to promote my beliefs, only to offer the reader a look deep into the darkest levels of the Third Reich and the occult beliefs that influenced these disc designs.

You honestly believe these...  I can't use the words I want to use because they'd get me banned.

There's a documentary coming out shortly about this very subject. It's called Iron Sky....

Look, I'm not interested in the occult stuff.  What I'm interested in is what designs if any were built or drawn up

No, he does. I was hoping I had enough quotation marks there...

Good luck finding irrefutable proof one way or another.

The only design I'm aware of that got actually built was the Sack AS-6: http://www.luft46.com/misc/sackas6.html

Might I suggest starting with Bill Rose's book "Flying Saucer Technology"?

This: http://discaircraft.greyfalcon.us/intro.html gave me a good laugh.

a few "disc-wings" were built in the USA during the 1930s, one was a parasol design.
I'll see if I can find the link.

ok KJ,
Disc-wings in general .... predominantly an American 1930's idea.
     Nemeth Umbrella Plane

http://celticowboy.com/Round%20Aircraft%20Designs.htm -- a couple of German designs.

      the Vought V-173 & XF5U qualify

a quick Bing search gives these pages ....

http://www.aerofiles.com/_n.html -- scroll down to "Nemeth"

Wiki et al has nothing on these planes.

You may want to check out the Russian EKIP -- a disc or "bread-box" shaped "flying wing" airliner-type aircraft that has flown experimentally -- it offers higher speed at low altitudes, very-short take-off & landing and very-low ground pressure for boggy ground.

Thank you for your assistance.  If anybody else has anything else, I'd love to see it
