Been a long time since I have put anything worthwhile up and as the only Whiffer I have done recently.. here it is.

Based on a profile from another forum with some great ideas for the Chaffee.
This is my take on the Chaffee Recce from a Chaffee Value Added life Extension program

Basic Scratch Build work for the auto Cannon and revised "turret"

Finished item.. the gun did get some modifications to make it more functional such as moving the ammo drum so the receiver
could actually feed the ammo, also moving the cupola a tad so the hatch could open. Still a head hazard but soldiers tend to learn quickly
around those

The kit is the venerable but quite reasonable Italeri Chaffee. Since the pix the tracks have self destructed.
They were awful to work with and never ever use a turps based wash on Italeri kit tracks.

Looks nice! Good paint job. Makes me think of former US equipment sold to smaller countries and still going strong.

The Norwegians actually fielded a modified M24 - they replaced the engine and gearbox and up gunned it with a Belgian 90mm gun in the 1980s.  They lasted another 10 years or so in service as the NM116:

Nice. Reminds me of a whif/fantasy version I did with a Matchbox Chaffee 30 years ago: I made a tank hunter from it, with the turret from Matchbox' Sherman Firefly, and a livery in olive drab and black. Looked weird, but at the edge of still being feasible...

Nice recce idea - maybe add an extendable sensor boom with cameras next to the gun mount?

Nice, Brian!

Has a sort-of German/Marder feel to it.

Certainly does, but my first thought was JSDF markings - whatever force it joins it's a lovely job
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Those hulls last forever and the updated weapons and sensors would have to be bought anyway. Makes sense to get as much as you can from these systems.
