Just got an Academy T6 Texan the picture on the box is of a version from the ROK airforce whose roundel would appear to be very similar to the Pepsi symbol

Hmmmm...
I hadn't realised that Pepsi is involved with Oriental religion or philosophy

Perhaps it's the ever pervading arm of 'sponsorship'?  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Interestingly, at the time, Pepsi didn't have their swirly red/white/blue logo. That didn't come until the early 60s. So, if anything, Pepsi poached it from Korea!

The Yin/Yang is also reminiscent of the Irish Swirly thingie too....

I thought that was Guinness (other drinks are available  ;D)

Sorry Alvis. The Irish Celtic Boss shows how much the Celts believed in the harmony of man and nature as well. We just seemed to forget that in Western Europe after the Romans ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

It would explain the photo of a North korean aircraft with the coke emblem

I always thought someone should do a Buccaneer in coke livery the fuselage is the right bottle shape.
