Now that is SOME flying! Well done Martin Whithers.  :thumbsup:

Amazing how he kept the nose up, just resting on the tail bumper, until the last possible minute, and even then he didn't just plonk it onto the nosewheel, you can see the ailerons working hard as he lowers it gently.

Total Respect.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Wow, didn't know she'd been repaired. She wasn't at the Yeovilton show a few weeks ago. STILL haven't seen the beast in the air... :banghead:

Nice video, Great aircraft, Awesome flying. I hope someone is teaching some young pilots how to fly that baby!

I noted that too, it looks like a lot of turbulence present and headwind. I was actually wondering if we were watching a touch-and-go for a few seconds. Must be a lot of ground effect too, more wing area than most. Still amazes me that such a design was flying barely a decade after the last Lancaster dropped bombs in anger.
