My eldest son is turning into quite the Whiffer!   His latest creation - via the medium of LEGO, is this fantastic little VTOL Strike Transport;

And look what I just found in the spares box;

Mwahahahahah!!!

The Rat

When he's old enough buy him a beer from me!  :thumbsup:

Will do!  Now I just have to do it justice...

And here we go!  Couldn't sleep one night, and whipped her together.  Just need to decide on a colour scheme - I'm thinking of a yellow / red CSAR scheme, same as the LEGO version...

Go4fun

I'll go so far as to say try to stick to his basic paint layout as closely as possible. He deffinately be a Junior WhIffer after that! :)

Good lad!  That's pretty much how I started out whiffing, making my own lego creations, even better when Dad plays along! :thumbsup:
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

NARSES2

One nights work ?  :blink: Well done mate
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

deathjester

Here we go, all done bar the varnishing...

A great display would be both Bumblebees side by side. I think a designator of VA-(Sons's age) "Killerbee" would fit wonderfully. As a Vertical Atack fighter it could give the enemy troopies and their attack helicopters quite the stinging.  :bow: :bow: :bow:
Now I'm going to have to keep my eye on what my one 4 year old grandson is doing with his Legos for fresh ideas.  ;D

Cheers!  I forgot to mention - this model is 'scale-orama'd' to 1/144, so at full size, she'd be nearly the same length as an Airbus A320!

BTW, the nose gun is meant to be an air cooled 40mm antiship gun, for taking out pesky smugglers and pirates...

Might do another one if I can scare up the parts!

Liking this Jay, it would make a good SHADO search and rescue bird  :thumbsup:

Pee on it and walk away!!

Thanks mate!  Why not get yourself a Hotspur glider kit, and give it a whirl...if you could do the Scimitar, then an AV-17 should be easy!

PR19_Kit

You mean there's a Hotspur in there somewhere? Now that's INVENTIVE building!  :thumbsup: :bow:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
