Mechanical Horse at War

Apparently the Mechanical Horse was used by the Navy I'm assuming post ww2 although I cant find any photos  on aircraft carriers.

Given the time of origin their is nothing to stop the earlier versions fulfiling the same role in WW2

Of course the cavalry should have some  also .
