Fortress GR1 of the Royal Maltese Defence Force (circa 1991)

This has been in conjunction with TheDarkMasters '91 Disaster story...

This is a Fortress GR1 of the RMDF as it would have appeared on the day of the attack on the USN Battlegroup in the Med.....it is armed with 4x80mm S-8 rocket pods from Maltese Mi24's....

The kit is the Airfix 1/72 and it's brush painted with Humbrol enamels

Chris.....yeah....if I get time....SWMBO'd is due to give birth soon to our second son....I might be able to fit some modelling time in.....on the flip side,she has ok'd a plan to build a modelling den in our garden.....awesome...!!
