Amphib Assault Ship as Hospital Ship?

What about a ship like this for the Coast Guard? Cruise'n the Caribean with a load of choppers looking for drug smugglers and doing hurricane relief. Nice white paint job with that orange/red stripe would look cool.

Here is my take on it and I have another in the wings.

This is the FHS #92 "Care". It's a 'pure' hospital ship altho the helicopters on board  (1 to 2 depending on size) can be used for rescue and other service amongst ships.
This is the first ship of the (Fictional) Free Islands Republic Navy fleet to carry no weapons on board and thus has to have armed ships around to support it.
