I'm going to throw this out there and see what happens.

While sorting through spare parts for something, I come across a B-25 fuselage that's never going to get used for anything. Six wheels later, I have the basic idea, but would like some help with the details:

I see this as being quite advanced and in the not so near future. Think of it as an "Indy 1000" offset-wheel racer; think of the diverse mid/late '60s Indy specials, but in the future.

But I'm torn about propulsion: Turbine, modern piston, "green" pusher prop, Ion thrusters????

And it looks fine at 1/25 scale.  Or 1/43 which would make it much larger and more imposing.

What do you guys think?  I'll worry about livery later.  My first choice of course would be Tyrell, but since I'm thinking Indy I'm probably going to go with an old-style sponsor design

Thanks for any input, and I'll try to update as things come together.

Turbine, TURBINE!!!!  ;D

What with six wheels AND a turbine engine it would really kick sand in the USAC official's faces.

Those guys never liked the Parnelli Jones driven STP-Paxton turbine in 1967 and changed the rules so that turbines wouldn't be competitive any more. Sadly for them they failed to deal with the genius that was Colin Chapman and the following year STP showed up with three Lotus 4WD 56s with the 'new rules' turbines and which were very competitive with the piston engined cars, until silly component failures took them out of the race.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

instantly reminded me of the 'Cosmic Motors' Gravion, eventhough the setup is different:

A-symetric = cool ;)

Looks like a nice concept you've got there, i am curious how this will evolve.
Good luck with it!

There are no good kits, bad kits or grail kits, just kitbash fodder.
