Hi all, just got home from this show over in Golden, CO. It is the 2nd year I have gone and plan to try and keep going as it is a fun little show with some great people and some great builds.

All the pics can be seen here:

the COMMIES are known more for their sic fi stuff but this show has it all including a few whiffs.

Oh, and my little Worf took a first (course he was the only one in the category, scared off the competition).

Thanks to PW he was subtitled "They said there would be prune juice!"

Some SERIOUSLY good stuff in the link there!

My fave is the F-103, truly magnificent, and what's the story on that 'two shades of grey' submarine right at the bottom of the link pages pleases?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

Yup, that's pretty nice. But I also favor the F-103, as truly exotic "thing", as whiffy as it can get.

No doubt ! Who knew the world was so full of excellent modellers ? Wow. My favourite section is the cold war, lovw those big old transports with orange panels all over themmmand the jets. The selection of armour is outstanding as well, really dig those hover tanks ! And even a couple of GP bikes in there for good measure.

Thanks for sharing !

The sub is the new 72nd scale Skipjack kit that the guy is converting into a Dutch sub but I can't remember which one it will be.  I chatted with him for a bit as I have been thinking of converting my Skipjack to the Washington but maybe I will build the first one out of the box and then see what I think.
