This is the first interstellar ship.
Archernar reached the 36 Ophiuchi triple star system, 19.5 light years away from Earth in year 2116, and after a reeaaally long trip... ;)

The model is built with various parts from revell's Perry Rhodan kits, Babylon V... and some others...
Note the small Remora ship moving around.
These pics were taken in an exhibition.
The color scheme is deliberately in a monochrome style, with a strong homage to Chriss Foss, One of the more fabulous artists in Sci-fi (to me at last !!), with a lot of cheat lines/outlined marks.

The model in painting process, on my kitty's blanket...

Not very inspiring at that time !

Now this is just brilliant!  Truly, you could take that design to NASA or ESA, and they would....keel over from the cost of the thing!  That is the kinda thing they want to build though...

I really should visit, soon, but I'm too busy Whiffing to SciFi at the moment..... for the last couple of years.

MOST EXCELLENT. This shows great creativity and impressive workmanship. A real beauty.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Now that's a very impressive model, and a great design (from a fellow Chris Foss fan!).
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

I don't know nothing about spaceships or possible designs for spaceships, but that does look
Rather good
Very tidy paint and Decal work too.

The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

I like the paint pattern. It gives it some Apollo feel.

Sorry I'm late in here, but - holy s**t that's seriously wicked! I am at a complete lose for adjectives at the moment (which doesn't happen very often) so I'm going to stop posting and go back to looking at your pictures...

Some new pics, at a recent exhibition :

My next big starship is on the beginning :

Well...  Actually it resembles to nothing... just bits from an old super frelon (heller 1/35), a Boeing 747 wing (revell 1/144) and an enterprise nx-01 saucer (polar lights)...
Be patient and wait for some months before a result... ;)

That will be an interesting build to follow. I love the twists and turns of your mind.
