Same. I'm hoping we see more squadron color birds as more squadrons stand up. VMFA-121 has been pretty busy, so I'm not surprised there hasn't been much color, but I would love to see this one:

Senior government sources said the new aircraft would enable the armed forces to reclaim the Falkland Islands if they were seized by Argentina - something that critics have claimed our navy would be unable to achieve today.

Claimed? Well how could the navy 'reclaim' them? We don't have a single operational carrier...........

I suspect 800 and/or 801 as some of the oldest and longest serving FAA units

I suspect 800 and/or 801 as some of the oldest and longest serving FAA units

I believe thay the following squadrons have been announced so far:
RAF 17 r, transition/ training
RAF 617, Dambusters
FAA 809

So if the full lot is bought, should be some room for 800, 801 in the FAA and a few more RAF squadrons.

Nice for the USAF, at least the air superiority units, no use to the USN/USMC and the majority of the other customers.

The suggestion for ditching the F-35 early enough improves situation for foreign countries. Without the major political commitment to that program, they can actually buy Eurofighter, or Grippen, or Rafale, or maybe Super Hornet.
