Operation Olympic Guardian - Typhoon FGR.4

The Olympics and Paralympics were brilliant, simply brilliant.  I was glued to them and the local area resounded to the noise of Typhoons deployed to nearby RAF Northolt as part of the overall security effort for the Olympics.
The Team GB kit's Union Jack logo begged to be put on a fin of something - and why not a Typhoon?  ZJ939 was the only one of the Typhoons deployed to Northolt during the 2012 Olympics for Operation Olympic Guardian to feature these special markings.






Kit: Revell Typhoon built OOB apart from the tail marking, which was the result of much masking and some Xtracolor Oxford Blue, RAF Roundel Blue, PRU Blue and a dash of Humbrol white.  Did I mention it's the 1/144 kit?
