I would stick with the Typhoon canopy in the original position, but extend the "spine" forward to meet it higher up in a Hunter-ish fashion, covering at least part of that unused back seat position. And "devolve" it a bit by painting some frame lines on the windscreen? Or if you have a spare from an alternative (Tornado might work?) that has a similar sweep angle?

I love what you're doing here, by the way. This is shaping up to be a really beautiful machine, in the finest Hawker tradition.

It does.....

Thanks for all the ideas and encouraging comments everybody
The hunt for the 'right' canopy goes on, at the moment I have canopy's from
A Tornado (Ex Airfix I think) an F15 and F84 Thunderstreak. All of which
'Work' after a fashion, I'm just not sure which one I'll use yet
Or I may see if I have something else.
I don't really want to use the Typhoon canopy because to me the shape and size
Are far to modern for the timescale of  the 'Retro' Typhoon

Keith (I used to be indecisive, but I'm not so sure now ;D)
The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

Gondor

Similar problem with the two seater I have been making. Decided on a canopy but not saying what yet so that people will have to guess what I have used.

Buccaneer or Phantom cut down?

On reflection, have a word with Martin H.  IIRC, he has a plug for the canopy for the P.1101 Hunter tandem seat trainer which is probably ideal.

Just a reminder of what the Tornado canopy looks like on it.

I used the whole canopy, but cut the main part in half, using the rear half as part of the spine.  The windscreen needs to be smoothed in better at the front edge tho...

TallEng

I've found a canopy that I'm happy with ;D
And this is it fitted...

So more PSR ahead
