I did this one a long time ago :

At first, it was a bet with a friend : a Pinky Sulaco with a sharkmouth !

Finally, it got more serious than i think

But it's still cool, i hope !

Its the Colonial Marine frigate that took the Marines & Ripley to LV426 to find out why the Terraforming Colony had gone off line in the Aliens sequel.

Its a nice model BTW

Great model, Mr. Ten. The Sulaco is one of those classic designs, and it looks great with teeth.

Yes, it's the old Halcyon kit (1st edition)... A bit rough, but easy to build with a neat result.
As a bonus, the Narcissus from Alien :

Another Halcyon kit, and a better one. I did it a long time ago too..

The original Narcissus seemed to dull to me.
So i added a greyish/pale blue finition with some exotic decals to make it more alive...
There is a "forced" shadow effect done with the paint, but it is nearly invisible on this pic.

I just didn't reconize it with the paint. Maybe you modified it some too. Now I have to look for the movie to check it out.

Wasn't the model of the Sulaco used at the end of Alien 3....the rescue ship...

Certainly looks very similar....
