Your triple P-38 is wonderful, thanks!
It is different from Alvis P-38T in my collection http://www.kristofmeunier.fr/#Sit . May I draw your one? What is its name?

It is an honour!  but I think you have it already under "divers modèles "raisonnables"."  ;)

I have also made a floatplane P-38 as well, and even a P-38 egg with floats!

Tophe

Thanks for the search, more efficient than my own! Well, your one is a little different, as Droop-Snoot noses derivative.
And yes, I'd be interested to see your floatplane P-38 and the P-38-egg with floats, yeah!!!
PS. Do you still have the P-38-egg 3-view of the kit? Could you scan and send it to me by E-mail? That would help a lot my drawing it in slanting view.

Ericr - I must admit I like the way you keep to the primary colours for your creations. It becomes a modernist sculpture in a way
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

aha  ;D I am really happy to convince you with that, because it sometimes annoys people a bit.

I do not pretend making high art here, but to me it is indeed emphasizing the shape of things, a bit like when Tophe uses just grey. It's just that yellow is more fin than grey  ;)

Concerning modern art, I am loooking for links to artistic uses of models : see this topic :

Somehow, we are making art: your triple airplanes have no reason except pleasing eyes and mind, this is not utilitary, this is art somehow... and not classical with old tradition but rather modern. Modern art it is.

indeed! the droop-snoot variant was cuter, especially for this triple project

I quite agree with that indeed
it is exactly that kind of pleasure and interest I find in this kind of modelling.
