I used that Alaskan camo on a 1:72 Rafale in 2010, badly built model, I rushed to get it finished and it suffered badly !!.

But here's the thing. For the F-2/F-16 build, I'm moving away from an Aussie/Kiwi SEAD build. Been giving it a great deal of thought (really should be focusing on 'grown up stuff' but I'm just not at the moment !), and I've got the beginings of a back-story, a colour scheme-in-mind, a couple of loadouts, some inspiration and most importantly the time to bring it all together.

When I finally get it straight-in-my-head I'll start a dedicated build thread, but for now please keep your ideas coming my way. They're very helpful, and I ain't shy about stealing them

Happy New Year all (well it will be here in just over three hours !!)

Time to call the 'fence-sitting' to an end.

Decision has been made. You'll see some progress shots in a separate thread in the very near future. Sincere thanks to everyone who joined in the fun over Christmas and the New Year. Time now to start cutting plastic and throw some paint around.

For anyone who may be in any ways interested; it wont be Australian nor New Zealand (although I have very definite planned builds for both of these Air Forces to come). I would ask folks to be patient and simply allow the build to unfold naturally, but I just know that is unlikely. Going to lock-down this thread now but stay tuned to this forum, the 'Barak'/Mitsubishi hybrid will be revealed imminently. Once again, thanks for taking-part all very useful stuff. Wont be able to incorporate all your ideas on this project but some will follow me to others I have on my seemingly endless 'to do list'.
