Well done!
I also have thought about what a modernized WW II fighter would look like in service. Turbo Coursair with all metal wings would be awesome. I'm considering a P-61 Black Widow with turbos and scimatar props.

Great model.

It looks like the aircraft still has the belly scoop.  What purpose does it serve?

Very, very nice. Makes me want to do a mid-60s Do-335 with turboprops and plenty of ordnance.

That's the pylon for the Tallboy............
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

No i was thinking a secondary turbine,i was thinking of removing the belly,but it s not P 51 without it ;)

Very nice - even though it carries (personal taste!) a bit too much ordnance. But I like the overall concept, and the kit is very well done.  :thumbsup:
