I'm sure someone does a kit in 72nd, I just can't remember who.  Think Kitnut has one - Bob, you reading this?

Yep!

I have a 1/72 Canadair Argus vacuform made by a guy out of South Africa, goes by the name Santos.  The kicker is there was only ten made -- world wide that is!
Simon has said there's an Execuform vacuform and I've got an order in for one of those. Alvis3.2 got one a short time ago and he could tell you more about it.

Airways Vacuform did a 1/72 CL-44 along with their Britannia 300 (got one of those), I seem to remember that Aircraft in Miniature was going to do both too at one time.

I also have three 1/72 Vicker Vanguard vacuforms made by Gene Hooker (who is just across the border near you Todd), one will be as a Merchantman, the other two will be an AEW and a maritime military types (more than likely Canadian). I've slowly gathered parts like u/c and props from other sources for these and the 'Plan' (to coin a Wooksta phrase) is to start them some time in the next year or so.

I'd love to do one or both of the Argus. A little pricey for bashing up and flying around the basement, but probably worth it ( if I ever do a collection of proper RCAF types in 144th, that is  )

The Execuform Argus go for US$48.00 Todd, you do get a clear vac part for the windshield which the Santos kit doesn't have.

Hiya Robert. Gene Hooker ? I know a few Hookers around here, wonder if they are related ? Any contact info or website as to what else he makes ?

Also, where can I get the execuform kit from ? $48.00 isn't a bad starting point. Would be a fun plan to detail out, with all the bits and bobs on the bays etc.

Mike Herrill's Execuform email address & ph.# is:

someone posted that after using his email addy he got a bunch of odd emails, so I'm not sure if it's current now.

As an aside, Gene's company was/is called 'Classic Airline Logos' , he used to do decals too at one time.

Hey Robert,

I may have heard wrong but did Mike (Execuform) make a 1/72 scale Avro Canada C.102 Jetliner?
