Rather a lot of book vouchers for Christmas and I know what I'm getting when I can face Croydon in the sales

I'm about half way through "The Day They Almost Bombed Moscow - the Allied War in Russia 1918-1920" by Christopher Dobson & John Miller (a US edition of what was published in the UK as The Day We Almost Bombed Moscow).
It's slightly disjointed as it jumps from Murmansk to Baku to Vladivostok and back again, it could do with better maps and while it's got a bibliography I would prefer for it to be referenced from the text.
However, it's a good read, is clearly written and doesn't assume too much knowledge of related, but not directly involved events.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Red the UK edition and I agree it really could have done with better maps. The UK edition has 4 small ones - half page or less

Labelled do not open until New Year's Day.   Regard it as a sort of unbirthday present to you all (unless that date is your birthday, in which case.......HAPPY BIRTHDAY!)

Bought on eBay this morning,
Convair Advanced Designs: Secret Projects from San Diego 1923-1962

You'll enjoy that one, especially the flying boats.  Plenty of whiff fodder, sane and otherwise.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Ring of Steel - Germany and Austria-Hungary at War 1914-1918

Particularly interested in the Austro-Hungarian parts. I just want to know more about an Empire that has always intrigued me in its death throws

PR19_Kit

RAF 2015 Yearbook.

Lots of interesting stuff, eg. features on the Atlas, Chinook HC6 and Voyager amongst others, with lots of pics.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
