That looks seriously lethal Tophe, well done.

The fact that it's a bi-plane isn't all that noticable in those views so it comes as a bit of s surprise when you realise that it is!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

excellent concept!

the asymetry gives the spice

and personally I like the monochrome finish, which underlines the shape of the thing.

No, this is not lethal: mine is civilian for tourism... (I am a dreamer)
For the biplane layout, it is obvious without flash, due to the shadow, but blurred on a photograph, sorry:

Seen from front, the biplane layout is obvious too (as well as my poor skills, ahem) :-\

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Tophe

Thanks. ;D
Here is an improved view without flash to show the biplane wings:

I'm starting to wonder what effect that very close bi-plane structure would have on flying characteristic  ? In the days of Fly by Wire especially.

some time ago I tried out a bi-plane Phantom, with a larger distance between the planes, more "classical" I guess  ;)

I used a 1/144 Academy with the wings of a PM model announced at 1/96 : that way the upper wing is slighly larger, which adds a bit of plausibility I suppose

and the colour is ... red  ;)

Tophe

Wonderful Phantom biplane, thanks for showing!
