So... Woohoo !! Two models completed at last !! First it's a Supermarine Hydrafire Mk XIX, built for the '46 Schneider Cup.

And the second is a Dewoitine-Slerski D.620, a 1946 fighter which was the first operationnal jet in France.

Secomd that, I like it very much. I also still have a spare Ta 183 in my stash and planned a whiffy conversion - I really like the new tail section and the different canopy solution. Inspiring!

You could try the straight ie unswept Ta 183 proposal.  I saw a photo of the wind tunnel model some years back although I lost it years ago when one of my old macs decided to die.

Similar idea here - straighter wings (I have a pair from a Me 309 left over), and a longer/thin tail boom with a more upright fin. IIRC, there had been an early Lavochkin design in the USSR with such a configuration in the late 40ies. Maybe make it a Swedish design, pre-J29...?

They're literally straight - zero degree sweep with constant chord.  a straight swap of the wing from a Bv P.211B would suffice.  I can't remember if the tail was swept - it's been 12 years since the crash that wiped out that Mac.
