Monograms 1/48th "G" model, with leftovers from the 1/48 B29, 1/72 RB-36 & 1/48 DC-130. Decals are from various sets from the B17 to the B52.

Very slick sir!!!  That schemes suits the Fort nicely.  Great idea and execution

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I have a 1/48 Fort in the stash. This gives me ideas!

For me the model is too big.

BUT......

The idea is not, I like very much.

It's very nice.   I wasn't aware there were any SAMs in use in Korea in the early 1950s though.  Now, if it was being used for ECM or ELINT purposes, that'd be better.

Yes, an impressive beast. And how did you manage to buy/make such transparent glass? It took me some time before I saw the windscreen, but the rear gunner position looks really "open". It's glassed or not?
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

No glass yet....

I guess I should have researched the developmental history of the Commie SAM first

OK, This is the RB-17G pathfinder as she looked while participating in the bombing campaign in and around Inchon in September 1950. Note the experimental receptacle for the KB-29s flying boom.

I also decided I needed some more color, yellow walk way lines and a fancy message for the enemy below

Glass in, Inchon bound:

Its Whiff-world, just adjust timelines a little...like the Soviets developing the SA-1, and Uncle Joe sending them to Pyongyang for combat testing
