Does anyone know of a ready mixed near enough equivalent to this "early war" RAF underside colour ? 1 of my current Hurricanes needs it.

Rather suprisingy one of the Soviet WWII AMT primer shades looks like a sky blue to me even if the official colour is blue-grey

Thanks in advance

Chris
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

IIRC, Humbrol 23 ('Duck Egg Blue') is supposed to be that color?

The Wooksta!

I used Xtracrylics RLM 76 for the few Spitfires I've done with that colour.  And no one has said it's wrong either.

Sure you'll have a jar of that somewhere!

Gunze Aqueous H74 is a very good match for "Sky" resp. Duck Egg Green/Blue(IMHO). "Sky blue" is a completely different tone and is H25 (Gunze again).
Check also this table with several possible paints. Just add the name of the colour needed in the window "search".

Thankyou gentlemen

As I have Xtracrylic RLM 76 in the bins then that is what I'll use. It will also be being used on the 109 so kills two birds with one stone
