I'm doing some initial work on creating parts for one of the BAC 1-11 AEW proposals. For this it'd be good to have the fuselage diameter (or height and width if it's non-circular) so I can get the scale right. The Wikipedia article only mentions the interior dimensions of the cabin, a quick search hasn't turned up better info. Anyone here have this info?

Somewhere I have the official paint plans for the -475 that the BLEU unit at RAE Bedford had and I think that has the dimensions on it. Give me a day or so to dig it out of wherever it's buried itself.....  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Presumably the Douglas Model 2086 became the DC9, did it?
