I read that the Bell-Boeing V-22 Osprey has been awarded funding for an aerial refuelling system for the USMC MV-22B.
This got me thinking on the other aircraft either in service or retired that would make a great Whiff.
With most aircraft considered as refuelling tankers for example the Lockheed C-141 Starlifter but never fitted with such a system. Excluding buddy refuelling fighter aircraft.
In the stash (1/72 scale):
Grumman Hawkeye
Grumman Greyhound  (RVHP resin conversion set )
Grumman Prowler
Avro Shackleton MR3
Airfix Rotodyne
Airfix Bristol Superfreighter
AW Argosy
1/144
An-124

Already fitted the HS/BAe Nimrod with a flying boom and hose & drogue in-flight refuelling pods.
I also experimented with the Lockheed Constellation having wingtip in-flight refuelling pods. The flying boom also works on the Connie. May build another one.
