Is there a way to get the The Zombie Apocalypse Theme Build moved or otherwise modified to allow people to see it without logging in? Other folks from SSM want to see it. Perhaps it would motivate them to join what if.
Is there a way to choose if a thread should be public or members only when it is started? I hate to think I fat fingered something.

I'll go along with this. Some people don't want to join the group 'Sight Unseen" because they worry about security and getting 'roped into' something they won't like. I know better, YOU know better but people are just leery these days.

I say No.  If you want the benefits of a club, you join said club.

I'm with The Wooksta here.

This is OUR place and it needs a certain flexibility of appproach to modelling to understand where we're coming from. Many others don't have that, and if they do, why not sign up anyway?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Right this in one Moderators personal view.

I feel that the Theme builds section is one of the benefits of being a member of the group and should stay so. However I will raise the issue with the other Mods. Any opening up of the Theme would obviously only permit viewing of the thread and said viewer would not be able to participate.

I'll get back to you

The reason I ask this is because there are two theme builds that are accessable with out signing in and others are not. Do we have a rule on this or is it in the way the thread is set up?

The Wooksta!

Actually, you are.  If you don't post, at least once within a certain time frame, your account will get weeded out.  It has happened before.

I'm with keeping this site for members only. Some areas need to act as an advert to potential new members but not all of them.

As Wooksta says, if people join and post only once or twice then they get deleted in the fullness of time.

Unfortunately the one prson who does want to join gets an error message when trying to register.
