I built this one OOB as a stress relief from building some old Italeri kits. I had been toying with the idea of a prismatic or spectrum paint job for a while. A check of the stash showed that the "Lawn Dart" shape of the old Mirage was just the ticket. Construction is OOB with FROG and Matchbox decals. Paint is a hand-brushed mixture of Testors, Humbrol, Model Master and Xtracolor. I cut 3M painters tape into strips the width of  1/7th the length of the fuselage and laid them freehand in a diagonal pattern. A coat of Future sealed it all in and made everything nice and shiny. This one really pops out at me sitting on my shelves. Adios, Larry.

That really works - just suprised it's not been used for real
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
