The "BEN" seems very much like a Brewster Buffalo to me, anyone else?

Apollogies for the bump

Firstly, this link to a scratch model of the "BEN"

Secondly, what stats (maximum altitude, speed, range) did the Americans give the "BEN" during WWII, looking at the picture it looks to have had 8 guns, 6 in the wings, 2 in the cowling (possible combinations 8 machine guns (7.7mm), 6 machine guns in wings (7.7mm) 2 machine guns in cowling (12.7mm) or 6 machine guns in wings (7.7mm) 2 cannon in cowling (20mm)), which would have made it at least in armament equivalent to the Spitfire.

Sounds like an ideal excuse for some serious kitbashing.
