Yes, you read that right. The Modelzone store in Holborn, London, has closed its doors for good. The site will now be yet another Premier Inn...
I missed the big sales by just 2 days, final day was Tuesday 19th March. :banghead:

They had an alternative site to move to but that has fallen through so now their future is in limbo. Hopefully they can reopen soon, they say to watch the main website and follow the Facebook feeds.

Oh I hope they get an appropriate venue so they can re open......real shame if they don't....

That sucks....I love my LHS and shop there as much as I can. Kinda screwed myself on the Airfix Skyhawk and P-51 tho...for some reason he can't get them in !

Just seen an advert in the Metro. ModelZone has a new store at 52 New Oxford Street.
I'll have to get down there next week for a look around!

Doubt that it's any bigger than the original store going by reports from staff.

today Metro free paper had a 15% off coupon for modelzone if anyone's got one lying around..
the things you learn, give your mind the wings to fly, and the chains to hold yourself steady
take off and nuke the site form orbit, nope, time for the real thing, CAM and gridfire, call special circumstances.
