thanks for your generous praise fellows, but there's a lot wrong with the model   still it's all a learning curve isn't it??
and Bernie the story with this plane is that Clostermann recounts in his memoirs that in the briefing for a fighter sweep or bomber escort mission or something or other the pilots were told that Graf leads his formation in a yellow 190 and C actually claimed to have the seen the yellow plane in question, but then again perhaps not

Very true Al. I try and learn from each build, sometimes not that successfully but I try

yeah I been modelling 40 years and still don't seem to be overly proficient - I guess I'll get the hang of it soon

and on the yellow Fw190 - I trawled the web and there seems to be a lot of conjecture about if it ever existed - but I never let the truth to get in the way of a good modelling project

I have just started a 72 scale Bv 141 zwilling - figured I would do it as a maritine recon and german blues ( those german blues are great colours and we don't get too many chances to use them) - it never existed but it should be a good project
