I was wondering what other people used for RAF primer red ? You know the colour used on the canvas patches used to cover the blast tubes whilst on the ground.

Also how close to roundel red was/is it ?

Humbrol matt red, I don't know what the number is but the colour hasn't changed for ages. It's a bit duller than Roundel Red I think.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
