I came across this most useful site while surfing on some missiles of interest to me: http://www.designation-systems.net .  THe directory of US Missiles and such is fascinating just by itself as the list is quite comprehensive and complete.

About the only thing it doesn't address is proposed variations to US Systems used by allies, like the Nike-Phoenix proposal Hughes and McDonnell-Douglas made to Japan to take their MIM-14 Nike-Hercules missiles and replace the solid rocket motors with modern ones while replacing the electronics with the electonics from the AIM-54C.

I should note that this one raises some interesting "what-if" possibilities: http://www.designation-systems.net/dusrm/m-76.html  Particularly if you also consider the "bomber" version proposed for the SR-71 with four SRAM's.
