I see what you mean about the distortion at the front of the canopy now, but I wouldn't have unless you'd pointed it out.  ;D

My Bearcat's engine was sawn off just slightly more forward than yours I think so I didn't get the pinched effect but then had to insert a big wedge at the rear of the Sabre cowling. I'm just getting to the end of the PSR (thank goodness!) on mine so once I have some primer on it I'll post some more piccies.

Glad to see you used 20 mm Hispanos from a Hurricane, that's exactly what I was thinking of doing now that the native 50s have snapped off. I'm still toying with the idea of a couple of Vickers 40 mms under-wing too, one burst from them would guarantee sinking most of the Japanese escorts and do serious damage to many of the heavy units too.  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

actually, that nomination would have to include a LOT of people who took part in this mini group build?
Thanks a lot, anyway - I am looking forward for PR19_kit's "version" of things...  ;D
You built it. You came up with all the details. You made the story. You photographed it. OK, you got some inspiration from others - and acknowledged that -  but the final result is all yours.

... definitely looking forward to see how PR19_kit's turns out.
