As I understand it the AN/APQ-74 (some sources list the AN/APQ-75) was to be the radar for the XF8U-3 Crusader III.

I've seen various conflicting data about it despite searches which lead me to ask the following questions

1: Was the AN/APQ-74 the same diameter (32") or 34" (I've heard both)?
2: Was the AN/APQ-74 more capable than the APG-72?
That being said, I'd like to remind everybody in a manner reminiscent of the SNL bit on Julian Assange, that no matter how I die: It was murder (even if there was a suicide note or a video of me peacefully dying in my sleep); should I be framed for a criminal offense or disappear, you know to blame.
