That's some heavy metal you've created there! I like it, and look forward to seeing it in paint.

Welcome to the funny farm!

Should look great. But I do wonder is this ally of yours the reason why the M-48 was chosen in the first place?

Simple an effective back story......great build so far....welcome to the madhouse....!!!!

I finally managed to get some paint on this beast! Still a WIP - I have begun some light weathering... Hope you like it so far.

Welcome and nice one!

Assuming they could get the radars and computers to actually work (big ask....) , that would probably be a pretty decent combination. One of the fundamental problems with the Sgt.York was that the M48 chassis was too slow to keep up with M1s and M2s.

Can't see Turkey passing on hardware to Syria: could certainly see Jordan doing it though, particulary if the radar fix turned out to be less than effective....

Very neat. Love the idea and the execution looks to be going well too.

A simple conversion but a nice clean and possible one ,,i did the same sort of thing years ago with a M60 hull and the turret of a GCT 155 ..thats a French 155mm SPG for the poor fokes who dont know  ;D
Paint looks sweet so far ,,can't wait to see the end result

Got married, got a son and lost a great part of time to build models...

I know the feeling... anyway, your model looks great

Great job! Really like the idea.

I recall reading that the "red forces" could come up with some real surprises using the retired Sgt York hulls in wargames at the National Training Center at Fort Irwin.  Real threat to the helicopters.  Now if they had fixed the electornics and put the turret on a M-1 hull....
