The Skyly looks like a mix of a Hawker Tempest and a Fw190D on steroids:

I have the 1:72 kit of that thing from Fine Molds (there's also a Sanka kit available, but that's even harder to hunt down!) in my stash - pretty brute. There's even a planetary gear insode the nose so that the contraprop actually works! Will build mine OOB and in "true" colors, but not certain when.

Well, that one is never going to suffer engine over-heating with that many radiators on it!

Have to say though - the nose...and someone said  MY plane's nose was ugly!!  

I love the idea of the working contraprops though, and as for the Sanka - the Wooksta kindly provided me with a resin Shinden, which should convert into that quite nicely...
