Wish they'd reissue it, I keep getting beat on ebay! Really want an Eastern Airlines one.

I have some spare Micro-scale 'Eastern' main fuselage and 'Whisperjet' engine decals, and I could probably print up some Eastern hockeystick stripes, windows, doors and windscreen if you'd like?

I mean this scheme  :-

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Well almost, it's an MD-82 but at one stage they called them DC9-80s.

This one is an OOB Minicraft MD-82, which is a really super kit, with very few fit issues and only one fault that I could find. The optional wedge tail just doesn't fit properly and needed lots of PSR to get it to fit. Obviously the decals are non-standard and come from an Italian firm and they're pretty good too. It needed some VERY bright paint to match the McDonalds red, in this case it was a BMW red, for goodness sake.

If I was building another one, and I have one in The Loft, I'd sand off the window 'panel lines' on the fuselage because they're in the wrong place too, but with that mega-bright red they don't notice all that much.

It'll probably be on the Airliner SIG stand at Telford, if I have enough room in the car to carry everything I'm thinking of taking there!
