Vietnam era COIN aircraft with extra armor, fuel, and droppable stores.  Armored cockpit, cleaned up nose.   The pretense is that Heinkle was required by Allied forces to keep manufacturing the aircraft so many wound up in Spanish, French, British, American, Canadian, and Soviet Air Forces.  Eventually some even trickled down to S. America for use there.  The kit is already ordered from a website with the Tamiya issue on a great sale.    USAF SEA Green/Green/Tan over Black.

Love COIN
you may as well all give up -- the truth is much stranger than fiction.

I'm not sick ... just a little unwell.

The -335 as well eh?   Excellent idea with either the single or two seat variant.    It's packed away somewhere but one of those kits is in Ye Olde Stash.   Would make for a nice duo.

Thanks for the idea.

(Airborne and some other vitamins too)

Something I did a long time ago for something big...hopefully coming to a screen near you soon:  The Savoia-Marchetti S.M.96 Uragano anti-shipping aircraft introduced as a replacement for the Savoia Marchetti S.M.79s in the anti-shipping role.

Perhaps the most noticeable external change was the fitting of a remote-controlled tail gun to provide a degree of self protection.  Apart from the cannon wing-root 30mm cannon, the typical armament was 1 – 2 torpedoes as well as up to 24 R4/M HL Panzerblitz 2 rockets under the outer wings.

I'm going to be a party pooper. I think the one suggestion needed is to have the fuselage stretch just aft of the wing root, which would have been where any of the real world stretches gone. Moreover, the deeper rear fuselage would have been worked out as a straight line off the mid-fuselage, rather than the stretch-step. The He219 crazy concepts remained tidy and it would seem appropriate to keep to the tradition for the Wiffs.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
