Here's my secret about patience, I only work on my models when I feel like working on them and not when I have time to work on them. As soon as frustration pops it's ugly head in my fun/hobby room, it's time for me to stop and leave the room. Once my frustrations are gone and I feel like modeling again, then I'll go back to it.  

Been in the paint shop the pass few days. I shot the green this morning and used four eggs of silly putty masking! Got a few little areas that need touching up but no big deal. I'll shoot the brown tomorrow.

I find it fascinating that we seem to work (on the painting at least), virtually identically. BIG point of difference is that you map-out your patterns and colours through Photoshop, I do mine by printing plans, drawing the patterns then colour them with my daughters felt-tips and pencils....

....still embracing the 'inner-child' I s'pose

FAR, that's exactly what I do, I also have a random selection of things to work on, that way, if I stall on one project and get frustrated, I can watch a movie, or work on something else, or play my X-box to relieve the frustration, believe you me, Medal of Honor: Rising Sun works wonders to relieve frustration.

Great minds think alike?...Whatever works my friend    I have found that builds go that much smoother if I don't have to figure somethings out as I'm doing them. If I don't know my next few steps along with knowing I have everything I need to complete those steps, my motivation slows down. Like what's going on with my RNZAF TA-4K Mark II

Right on, Me to! Love Netflix, I play around in photoshop doing profiles, working on photos..... 



Oh! BTW... Brown is done! Took about an hour to mask using 6 eggs of silly putty and about 2 hours to shoot. Going to let her dry for 24 hours until I start doing touch ups and starting in on the gray areas.

Ya I missed that last set of photos as well.....wow ! What chance do the opponents have with aggressors like that ? Training for the PAK50 or whatever it's called I guess....

Thanks guys for the support. Things are slowly getting better. Last Dec I lost my job, couldn't find work and lost my apartment. All my stuff is sitting in storage and has be for the pass year. Early dec 2013, I finally found work and move to Chicago. Looking for a new apartment now and will soon get back to my passions.


It's been a long and hard year
