The Mosquito Museum is the place where the prototype Mossie, W4050, was actually built, and it's STILL there!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Just to add, it's the prototype Mossie but it's not as it first flew ---- W4050 was used to test just about every modification the Mosquito got and what we see today is where they left off from those tests (from the Sharp & Bowyer book)
