What scale is that? If 1/72, you could go insane and build an FB-36 to go over it, with your plane just dropping off to go smack down the bad guys.

:dum:

Great job on the build!  B)
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

QuoteThe tail surfaces are from a crappy 1/48 Testors P-47.
But: P-47 1/48 tailplanes on a Vampire 1/72 model? :D  Or just Vampire 1/48, almost possible also out of our modellers' Universe, not needing us, sadly... :(
Actually the model is 1/48.
uh? that means a B-36 at the same scale is impossible, unless you live in a castle, and could break a few walls to have room enough...
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

Hi Driver,
That little plane is in the highest traditions of inspired Whiffer silliness--and I love it to death!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's hard to get any modelling done nowadays on the plane what with security being so tight--I used to take my compressor on board and do some spray painting during long haul flights, but can't do that now.

Just kidding.

Very nice bird Nick, although I would have preferred the outside V-tail...

More Bonanza-like, you see!

    ;)

Actually I took my Commercial checkride in a '53 model V35 Bonnana.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

ewwww....Canadian beer!!!!     :D

The beloved wife and I are begininng to plan our annual trip over to England (mom and dad bought a little place over there when dad retired a few years ago).  I'm already dreaming of cozy evenings in the pub with a few pints.

We're planning a trip to the RAF museum this year, so I'm sure a quick stop in Hannants wil give me something to do while the lovely Mrs. Aeroplanedriver does a little shopping.

A beautiful woman, models and beer...what better holiday could one ask for!?
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Can't add any more to what the est of the lads have said.

Great work, Driver, keep 'em coming.
