QuoteThe Terrible Toads of the Swamps or Surpassing Stench have banned Easter. Bad news for the oppressed Teddy Bear Peasants. Luckily, teams of Commando Ninja Easter Bunnies are determined to see Easter comes to the swamps. By any means necessary.

Yes! As part of the School Holiday Program, SOuth Gippsland Shire have allowed me to run wargames sessions! This means I am now using wargames figures paid for by the shire. It's nice to see them spending money on something useful.
What is more - behold these photographs!

And now behold this website!
And now think to yourself "Yes, I should load the wife and kids into the car and drive to Korumburra on Sunday. They need an outing, and it's only 80mins from Melbourne. Okay, I live in Sydney, but it's not THAT far."

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Does look like fun, doesn't it.

... But there's no way I'd drive to Gippsland, it'd take at least 50 hours & I'd get very wet on the way.

... Although I could, possibly, find Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 as I drive across the bottom of the Indian Ocean.

It's probably coming out of the Defence Dept. training budget....

Lunacy of the best kind - nice one!  ;D

You mean South Gippsland Shire Council has a defence budget?
I wonder what they use it for?

Behold sirs! Wargames in a musseum; to be specific, the old court house in Coal Creek Historic Park and Village (or whatever the official name is these days)

This is actually in the area the public are usually barred from. The audience area, jury gallery and judges bench are open to public, the floor of the court is usually not. So, we played on a historic table amidst exhibits! Note that the magnificent green op-shop jacket is not an exhibit. Yet.

Each bunny strike team has a cup of six eggs. These are used as wound counters.

The terrible toads plot, scheme and generally do terrible things.
I didn't take any in-game photos, got too carried away. We had a couple from the local Medieval Society (yes, we have them in Australia. They just do European stuff.) numerous young persons, Mr. J. 'Aeolus' Abicare and family, and Young Brad of Gippsland Gamers. Seem to have made some converts to the one true faith (ie: all dice are cursed)
