I picked up the Great-Nephew yesterday from the Niece and found her assembling one of those kits the airlines sell you.
It was a 737 in the colours of a PNG airline and she had put the wings on upside down so it had negative dihedral and above wing engines.
Not sure if it was a mistake or she liked it better that way but it looked good and who am I to discourage a novice whiffer.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Great ideas can come from mistakes. Guess how Post It notes and Teflon happened? "Well what do we do with THIS"?
"Just which planet are you from again"?

Engines on top of the wings? Could become a 737 seaplane whif!

The VFW 614 still lives!  ;D

My eldest daughter did the same with her first kit, an Airfix Spitfire naturally and (stop me if you've heard this before as I've mentioned it elsewhere on the Forum....) the wheels were sticking up alongside the cockpit. When asked why they were that way round she replied, with a look of TOTAL scorn on her face, 'How would the pilot know they were up or down if they were on the bottom of the wings?'!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

Captain Canada

Good idea if your landing on water or without wheels !

I had a snap together toy/ model of a Mig 17 and it looked awesome with the wings clicked in backwards. It was hard to get past the flaps and ailerons on the leading edge when 'flying' it around the house, but it looked pretty neat none the less !
CANADA KICKS arse !!!!

Long Live the Commonwealth !!!

As long as they enjoy making something, what the heck  ;D
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
