I had a similar problem on Sunday at Perth, decided to buy a Revell F-4F only to find that the cheaper priced kit that was available from one stall had been bought so I had to pay a pound more from another stall to get the same basic kit.

Still a nice kit though.

Oh, and I have five different versions of the Do 335 by Dragon

Who's is the Flitzer masquerading as an RAF Germany Vampire (or possibly Venom) and can we see more pictures of it please?

its mine dave, and actually is a RAuxAF one from iirc the vampire sqn that was based in south wales prior to 1957.

nothing RAF Germany intended about it, though you have given me an idea there!  ;D

Suggested RAFG because of what looked like PRU Blue undersides (RAFG fighters had this for some reason in the 50s, when UK-based equivalents tended to be High Speed Silver - maybe Mike M can explain why - I've never understood the distinction).  More pics, Trev!!

Given the nations parlous financial state in the 50's probably down to the fact they had a large stock of the stuff left over from WWII at a base in Germany. There's also the need to keep all those national service lads busy and maybe the spuds had all been peeled.

I'm only being partly silly here as it's amazing some of the decisions that were taken because of the nations finances at the time.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
