Matchbox's F101 Voodoo combined with Hasegawa's F/A-18 Hornet, 1/72 scale.

Used the F101 fuselage with outer wing sections of the Hornet.  One of the Hornet's tails with a scratch fin filet and stabilators from sheet styrene.  Landing gear from the Hornet with nose gear bay instead of the Voodoo's.  The cockpit is the Hornet's to include avionics "hump".

Exhausts are being scratched from sections of brass tubing - I somehow lost the Voodoo ones.

Camo job is a mix of SAC Dark green, then Rustoleums Tan and Light Green camo colors and Rustoleum Nutmeg brown with Vallejo mahogany red highlights.  Yes I just scrounged the garage workshop for colors!  The pattern is nothing more than me getting happy with Silly Putty as a mask.

Markings will be Tanzanian Air Force.

Weapons load out will be "heavy" and possibly a mix of NATO and Warsaw Pact equipment.

I can see it now ! It sure is an interesting beast ! If I didn't know what it was put together with I'd certainly be scratching my head !
