BBC special effects budgets, Ollie. They were limited to what they could scrounge out of skips (actually done by the set builders on Red Dwarf)  ;)

Well, I don't think the shape's too bad. Guns ought to be bigger, tho. Little beats spaceships fighting  :wub:

The pirate cruiser. Those grey things on the upper hulls of all the pirate ships are shield coils.


Alien capital ship, carrying nine antimatter cannon, 12 phaser-type affairs and one feck-off HUUUUUUUUUUUUGE main gun!

The colours clash deliberately, I wanted something that'd look odd to human eyes.
