I just saw some resin kits on this website.......
http://www.anigrand.com/index.htm
.........that I would very much like to have. But........I just thought I'd check with others and ask if anybody has bought from them before. How were the quality of the kits? How was service and shipping? Any Pros or Cons to dealing with this site?
Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

Anigrand make some pretty good stuff and their shipping and packaging is exemplary. They're expensive but the moulding is top quality, and if you have the slightest complaint they swap the faulty parts without quibbling. They make some extremely rare and desirable types too, what's not to like?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Same experience here. Fast shipping, very good packaging and excellent service.

Their kits are very good. In the earlier ones they had some air bubbles but the later one are very clean.
Fit is excellent.

Their kits are of some very interesting subjects. I'm very taken with their 1/144 range. I have almost all of their US bombers in 144 and am currenly building the RAF bombers.

Excellent service from Anigrand, their only achilles heel is that being based in Hong Kong they have the Chinese restrictions on information, so accuracy can vary on kits as they dont have the resources or access to the drawings, photos or actual hardware that other producers can have !

Same here, shipping is very quick, service is excellent.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Yes, they are very helpful, after asking about a complete set of 1/72 Hughes HK-1 Hercules nacelles and props they had on sale, I got them real quick in the mail.  That's apart from some of their other kits I've got from them.  They can also be got through Nostalgic Plastic which is now under Rare-Planes Detective banner.

never had any issue with them as yet.
ive had quite a few of their smaller kits over the last few years. and its always been the same quick and reliable service from Anigrand.

They are also available from time to time via Hannants in the UK. But what they get in can be hit and miss subject wise.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Yup always have good service from them.

Bonus is that if you or a friend are philatelists then you get some great stamps for the collection. Down side is you can smell the kit coming a mile away, must drive the sniffer dogs barmy
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I have several Anigrand kits and can echo the sentiments posted previously. If not having success through the channels previously mentioned, several of their kits can be found via various sellers on eBay. I personally get mine through eBay seller rebelalpha for very reasonable prices and he does ship internationally.
It takes only one drink to get me drunk. The trouble is, I can't remember if it's the thirteenth or the fourteenth.
