Question: has anybody built the Revell/Monogram box-scale (1/78th) Ford Trimotor in airliner or other non-arctic colours? If so, you should have some spare arctic figures: two guys in parkas, a sledge and three dogs, because the kit was originally tooled to represent the plane used on Admiral Bird's expedition to the South Pole.

If you have these and don't want them, I'd like to buy/swap for them: please PM me and we'll sort something out.

Cheers.

Last time I was home this was one of the kits at a craft store chain ( Michael's ) and with their 50% off coupons can be had for a song. If I ever get home I'll check into it for you.

If you can let me know what the score is I'd be grateful, but please don't buy one on specc or go to any trouble! Brian de Basher is sending me more than enough figures for my immediate needs.
