Hi Guys,

screwed up the courage to post a link to 2 of my finished models. I don't have a photobucket or similar account so the link will have to do.
These are both from the Illawarra Model Show ( Australia) in May. The first got a gold ribbon and the second a bronze. Judging is 1st to third then ribbons based on judged quality. I was a bit surprised on the day.

http://www.themodellingnews.com/2014/05/we-have-some-nice-galleries-from-annual.html - it is the second photo down of the diorama labelled "But it's reference material "

and the last photo ( takes a bit of scrolling to get there) of the Putty Hog which they labelled "Not sure what category this belongs to but we liked it all the same.." This of course is a distant cousin of the Carpet Monster which particularly loves Matchbox and Frog kits.

Some very nice work there. Thanks for posting this.
It appears your subjects lean to the humorous side, well done!

Good work William.
Keep it up.

IMO it takes more courage to enter stuff in a show than it does to post them here.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Love the Putty Hog

Some really excellent stuff there, thanks for posting.

Very much agree. I haven't got the "inner strength" that's for sure
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Thanks for the kind words. I am according to my nom de plume a luft46 modeller but this comes and goes. The two models are a result of conversations with a modelling buddy that sparked random thoughts - pretty much the what if process in a nutshell. I have two other dioramas planned in this series but it definitely won't be this year. As per my blog I am working on a Toad Resins BV P202 and a E10 panzer at the moment.
